GEA-NHO Female Future Programme
The GEA, in collaboration with the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), is launching a leadership and boardroom competency development programme dubbed “FEMALE FUTURE”.
FEMALE FUTURE, originally developed and implemented in Norway by the NHO in 2011, has been replicated and established in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Tunisia. It is Ghana’s turn to experience this talent-enhancing programme, which increases female capacity in organisations by making them more competent leaders in management positions, in decision-making processes and on corporate boards.
Goals of the Female Future Programme
- Increase the percentage of women in decision making processes in management positions and on corporate boards
- To provide a forum for women managers and women on boards to interact and exchange ideas
- To assist companies in developing their gender equality policies to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, to achieve gender equality and empower women and girls
More information on this programme will be forwarded to you soon.
