GEA Welcomes Cohort 8 of its Female Future Programme
The Ghana Employers’ Association (GEA) held an orientation ceremony for Cohort 8 of the Female Future Programme Ghana (FFPGH) on October 17, 2024, at the Employers’ House in North Ridge, Accra. The ceremony welcomed 40 new participants, marking the continuation of the Association’s commitment to promoting gender inclusion, diversity, and leadership development among women in various sectors in Ghana.
Launched in 2019 with support from the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), the FFPGH has become a critical platform for fostering boardroom and leadership competencies among women, with over 250 participants across seven previous cohorts. The participants of the latest Cohort (Cohort 8) had the opportunity to network with the alumni, facilitators, and executives of the programme, strengthening their connections and preparing for the journey ahead.
The FFPGH’s mission remains focused on closing the gender gap in leadership positions, improving female representation in decision-making roles, and contributing to organizational success through increased productivity and the implementation of gender equality policies. This orientation set the stage for another transformative experience for women leaders in Ghana.
